The Copenhagen Wheel

$600 when it is available in 12 months.

I too have environmental and location sensors on my bike. It's called a brain.
I really dislike useless electronics on bikes. If it's a commuter bike, then after a couple rides you'll have your route pretty well optimized. And environmental sensors? what, do you need something to tell you it's raining? |
That's neat, but will it fit a 16" wheel?
|
Thanks for sharing. Not for smaller wheels looks heavy and not very aesthetic in my opinion. I do love how entrepreneurial MIT are though.

$600 is very cheap for something like this. Electric bikes or electric kits are usually much more. Not saying I would want one.

A big part of a bicycle's appeal is in its inherent simplicity. This thing though it may be clever is in the opposite direction.
