The one you titled"this guy got a nice bike" It should be nice thats the old boy himself(Sir Alex Moulton). Sure is spry for 90 years old eh?
But maybe you knew that already and were checking to see if you could catch someone, and i took the bait.Lol.

While Alex Moulton, Commander of the British Empire, Royal Designer of Industry, Honorary Doctor of Arts (Royal College of Arts), Honorary Doctor of Science (Bath University), and member of the Fellowship of Engineering, is occasionally referred to as Sir Alex Moulton, this is incorrect. However, American cycle journalist John Allen said it best: "If Moulton was never knighted, he should have been."

But maybe you knew that already.

Come to think of it i think i read that before and had intended to stop calling him that. But old habits die hard. In fact if i remember correctly it was put exactly the way you just wrote it.

Found it. It was you. Under "High Class Horses" thread in Folder Forum. You were correcting Puppypilgrim.
Because you seem to have taken offense to my remark to Kamsta about " maybe you knew that already" i finished what i was thinking when i wrote it.

This very much makes me want to finish my own Moulton project (well, start it really!), and be there next year. Even amongst that lineup, it'd be unique.

Good, now we have two independent sources ;-)

Yes, he is doing very well for his age. When you are the oldest person in a Moultoneers gathering it really says something about your age.

It is interesting to compare the different approaches of Dr Moulton and Dr Hon. One focused on quality and ended up with fame a cult like group of loyal followers while the other focused of quantity and ended up with a big market share.
