Adapting existing luggage to brompton.
Hi,
I have a brompton M3L, best investment I ever made! With it I have the folding basket, I wanted the C-bag but it was really over my pricepoint after just getting the bike. I do have several messengerstyle bags about that size that I'd like to make compatible to the block/frame. But I am in no way a seamstress and could use some help, preferable step-by-step or even photos if anyone knows how to make the bag a brompton bag. Thanks /Mel |

Whatever you decide, you must settle on your method of attachment as sewing one is far more difficult than the other. But both can be successfully done on a domestic household sewing machine. I know as I already adapted several bags already sewn up at purchase to both my Brompton and my Raleigh Twenty. I sent a nice basic idea on how to go about attaching the bag to your PM address. Check it out.
