Placed an order for a Brompton...barends?
I liked the Brompton which I rode so much, I decided to order an S6L in black. I can't wait
Has anyone run Ergon grips with barends? I'm curious as to whether it affects the fold.

It does depending on how much of an angle you put them on. I got mine in a satisfactory position and it folds well still. Bit of a compromise.
