Raleigh Twenty photo

Just wanted to share this photo my partner took this morning on her commute to work on the R20. I love this bike! For a while I wondered if we should have dropped the cash we did buying/restoring it, since we don't really "need" it. But the Twenty is so much fun, I have no regrets.

I was wondering what drove all that traffic to my Flickr page! I *love* this bike. I'm reminded how much fun it is every time I ride it. I just ran it to my LBS on my lunch break so the mechanic there could check it out; he's been asking to see it since the store opened in June.

Sharp! That is what all Twentys should aspire to look like

Here are a couple of my beauty shots from a while back. I AM NOT a photographer, in fact digital was the single greatest advancement for me, saved a bundle on film, developing bad pictures.

The late Sheldon Brown deserves the credit for popularizing it and as he and others have noted, with suitable upgrades, the Twenty can approach the performance of a Bike Friday at a fraction of the cost.

It rides like a full sized Raleigh Sports.
