Brompton and Leather Case

At this website called "Opulent Things"

you can get a Brompton M6R for a mere $12,000. But, that includes a deluxe leather case. So, if an M6R retails for around $1,200, we're looking at a $10,800 leather case! That better be one very nice case.

If the case is wood and well done it might be priced to market. I checked the Louis vuitton site and they sell hard cases too for like 6600usd for their biggest case! but that case wouldn't fit a brompton at all. Plus with a case like that price are you going to baby the bike or the case? it doesn't make sense to have the more expensive item on the outside protecting something that's around 1/10th of the price! anyone could easily buy that $300-400 brompton hard case anywhere. This is just excessive waste and spending for the rich. It's like giving your girlfriend a cubic zircona engagement ring with in a diamond studded box.

but then again I checked the entire website and they have alot of expensive gadgets even a hovercraft if you have the cash! They're also selling the IF mode which looks like a total bargain compared to the brompton! but the IF mode was priced accordingly and not more expensive than other bike stores which means that box is really around 10K! ouch!
