Curve SL or Downtube mini

Is there any way to attach a rear rack to either of these folders? The mini has rear suspension and the curve says no luggage attachments below is quote from Dahon web pg
*North American model NOT equipped with luggage socket *
Also is there a hole below headset like on most bikes to attach a front rack to on either the Downtube mini or the curve SL? They have pics but not good enough to tell. Also I can get a 2008, 2009, or 2010 curve I can't see any difference except color, any input on that?
Thanks

Rack for Mini

I have a Mini and installed Dahon's 16 inch rack using rubber u-clamps which you can buy at hardware stores. I had to spread the front struts of the rack to fit the angle of the seat stays but it was not hard--use your hands and do it slowly. The rear struts installed with no problems.

I use a klickfix adapter on the seatpost and the klickfix Caddy adapter on the handlebar post. Works great and doesn`t effect the fold.

no luggage socket means that the dahon braze on mount on the head tube is not there,, but only on the 2010 Capreo derailleur model ..... which comes with fenders ...

a carrier can be added without problems of course... as well as different mounting options for klickfix stuff of course

the 09 version has the braze on , it does not have fenders or carrier ....but both can be added, but it has the cool 8 speed redband nexus rear hub ....

both models are getting slimmer and slimmer and before too long will not be available anymore, there is NO curve SL for 2011 in the pipeline ... now its the time to get one ...

Say it ain't so! The Curve SL is on my wish-list for my next bike, but I can't afford it yet.

if you were to ask me for opinion on which bike to get between Curve SL and DT Mini (if it's still available) - i would say get the CURVE SL you will get a superb customer service from thor.
