If only the U.S had these during the 2nd Gulf War. Bush could have announced we were unleashing "Shock and Cogs" upon the enemy.

Thanks Chop for the Bianchi link. It's given me some ideas for a cheapo conversion of my take-apart to folding.

The US Military currently uses folding bikes in the field. They are made by Montague and were originally designed to fold for fitting through the door of an airplane with paratroopers! check them out at https://www.montaguebikes.com/paratro...tary-bike.html and get the full military history at https://militarybikes.com/

There must be a practical reason for the feathers. Anyone know what it is? Sunshade maybe?
