What is the Widest Tire avaiable for Dahon Speed Pro (TT) ?
I have recently purchased a like new Dahon Speed Pro (2006 model) and it has the OE Mango/black tires 20x 1-1/8. Anyone have an idea what is the widest tire possible on the stock rims? Thanks

You can run Big Apples, but they look funny on the narrow rims.. I'd go with a 406x1.5 .. like a Greenspeed Scorcher .. that's a nice fast, comfortable tire.. I have them on my Jetstream XP (same rims as your SpeedPro assuming you have stock wheels)..

Bruce, Thanks a lot for the Info/recommendations. Whatever Tire I switch to, they need to be less Flat Prone these OE Tires. 2 flats in 7 days. What a Pain.

all the 406 tires will fit ..... you will have to check the clearance with the caliper brake.
Now the widest tire I would put on it would be the Schwalbe Supreme ... 20 x 1.6 a truly amazing tire, however, I am the first one to admit that they are not cheap ..... i am almost thinking that the price is kinda outrageous....
Than again its a great tire with lots of labor involved and all the folks who bought them are wildly enthusiaticabout them

continental top contact is pretty good, comes in 1.5 and 1.75 sizes.

I used Marathon racers on my speed pro. I had many flats in the beginning on my Dahon speed pro but it turned out that the stock rim tape was bad but since yours is from 2006 I guess that is not the problem.

Thanks for the Info Guys. I'll check out some of those suggestions.
CAX--On my last rear Flat a week ago, Yes it was the Stock Rim Tape. As the Bike has under 600 miles, I was rather surprised that this was the cause of my flat but sure enough, it was.
