Constant Tikit
I own A Pocket Crusoe and a Tikit. I changed jobs about 5 months ago, which puts me on the Metro during rush hour twice a day. Since then I've been using my Tikit quite a lot; outside of work trips, too (shopping, pleasure rides, etc)
The other day I was on a small group ride, and after a couple miles of city riding, the guy behind me commented: "You certainly seem at home on that bike; you maneuver it well. I take it that's your every-day bike?". It hadn't occurred to me that, yes, I am quite at home on this bike. The Tikit creaks as I crank up hills, and before a little rig job, the chain used to bounce off the chainwheel when hitting bumps in higher gears. So it has it quirks. But somehow it's nestled its way into regular use. I cannot imagine doing without the fold and roll of the Tikit. Happy riding everyone.

As to the chain bouncing off the chainring, do you have a chainring guard? Is it the standard one? What's your rig job? I've found a slightly bigger diameter chainring guard will do wonders.
There are a fair number of DC tikiters. We need to band together.
