Anyone know of any replacement forks available? Might have messed up dropouts on mine

BD sent a replacement bike. Made a few changes. Waiting for some brake pads.

Sun bicycles used to sell recumbent bicycles with a 20 inch front fork that had a long steer tube. Perhaps they or their distributor, J&B Imports, would have one in their parts inventory.

This all effects "trail/caster", which governs steering stability at speed, and wheel-flop when stopped. Plus the minivelos have really long head tubes, so you need a long fork steer tube, and hopefully you are using an aheadset setup so you don't need a threaded steer tube, but can just hack it off to the length you need and deburr the edge. If you've got a Mercier Nano, try calling Bikes Direct, ask about a fork. |

Just received this mini. Started building then I noticed the rear shifter rubs on the frame. Trying to decide if the lever is bent or the mount isn’t centered on the frame correctly. BD says I should bend the shifter. It seems unlikely such a beefy part would bend. Thoughts? |
