Chamang waterfalls ride
Hey folks!
I spent my day off riding with a friend who owns a farm in a town called Karak in Pahang, Malaysia. This is a setting in the rugged countryside and we took a ride to a scenic spot called the Chamang waterfalls.. Here are some highlights of my 20km ride yesterday....
My buddies Farmer Wong (right) and nature guide turned farm hand Ah Pan (left)
Starting the ride out of town..
Catching up with the fast and furious farmer..
Traffic was okay on the country road..
My farmer friend leading the way..

It took me about 20 minutes to get the waterfalls.. Here's a shot at the park entrance..
Finally, its a 1-km roll downhill to the waterfall's park area..
The Chamang falls..
The water pools can be dangerous..

Even on a working day, there are lots of visitors to this scenic place..
The rapids..
Warning notice to the public..
There has been reported deaths in this area...

My buddy the Farmer is one happy man! Lunch is good too!
This food outlet is one of the best in town...
After lunch, I made a trip to Farmer Wong's land. Some 60acres of growing plot..
The rugged farm..
Harvest time... Workers are preparing Choy Sum for delivery and Farmer Wong grows seven varieties of lowland leafy vegetables..
