montague paratrooper knock-off?

I've been interested in the folding paratrooper for years now. The first time I saw one was in a PX while I was deployed, and I've wanted one ever since. Here's the deal though, I wouldn't mind building a bike, just the way I like it, and I was thinking of getting just a frame. I came across this site on another thread in the forums for something which appears to be a pretty close replica of the paratrooper frame:

does anybody know anything about these frames? Are they chinese garbage, or what? I know they are manufactured in china, but hey, lots of stuff comes out of china. Doesn't necessarily mean it's junk. Any comments are welcome!

I havent got around to fitting all the parts to make a bike yet but it appears to be really similar to the real thing. Compared to my Montague size 18 frame, the OEM frame toptube is slightly longer 60cm compared to 58cm, the headtube is 44cm compared to 34cm and the dropouts are chunkier and more contemporary style, the seat post tube is the same 50cm. The frame is fairly light and looks well made.

Are the drop-outs ok to use an IGH on the rear wheel? or if not, does it look like it could be adapted? Just curious since I have been looking at that item also. Thanks.

The dropouts are vertical -- you'd need a chain tensioner or an eccentric BB to run an IGH
