Citizen Pre-Receipt Upgrade
 

Expecting delivery of my new Tokyo on 6/21 but didn't want to wait on two important upgrades - tires and tubes. Although I kind of like the look of the retro grey cruiser tires the bike comes equipped with; I figured a smoother and higher pressure tire would improve performance and hold my 200+ lbs better. Settled on Kenda Kwest 16x1.5 high pressure - 100PSI and have them opn their way! Also picked up a pair of Avenir thorn resistant tubes - a little more weight perhaps but helps in my experience make the wheels more bullit proof.
Anyone have any experience with these tires on their folder?

I haven't used the hi-pressure version but the plain one, these are IMHO an unsung hero. Quite grippy but not light. I have worn out one, the casing gave out. The hi-pressure version will be tougher.
