Replacement handlebars for folders?

Hey all. I found a bike on rakuten I would like to get for my mother and I.

https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/e...em/kf-20ac-or/

My only dilemma is the handlebars. I'm 5'9" with an inseam (book method) of 33.5 inches with long arms, and I'm concerned about the handlebars being a little too low. My mother is only 2" shorter so we'll have a similar setup. That stem is obviously not easy to come by. The only comparable option I found is this:

https://www.bikefriday.com/thestore/...ducts_id=13450

What other options are there?. I'm looking for as many options as possible as I don't know the diameter on the original handlebars. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

need data .. that website citation won't cough that up, from a few pictures.
such as tube diameters , is the handlebar removable from the mast?
and are you willing to seek out and hire a welding shop to make things ,
if the off the shelf plug and play thing, just won't work?

and is it OK if the handlebar enlarges the folded size or
hits the ground when the thing is folded , significantly.

If there is a pinch bolt clamped around a 1" center handlebar ..

could be a welded T connection for all I can see.

I'm not real picky on the size of folders. I just want to be able to take it into the store without trouble. I'l lock it to the bottom of my shopping cart. It looks to be a one piece on a stem close to the base. I found another bike from the same seller which uses a more conventional stem. Still doesn't address the issue of height for me though. At least I can use conventional bars on it.

OnyaxeP, I'm 69", (and shortening, with Age) I have A Brompton M3L , Ergon GC3 grip upgrade,
and a medium sized bike friday [56 top tube] Pocket Llama.. they make 3 size TT lengths ,
to suit rider's sizes

You will be able to order a Brompton H which will offer a 6cm taller handlebar than the M,
due to a steering mast redesign. next year, they promo'd it at the Eurobike trade show.

I have no clue about the rakuten, I guess you don't either.
