pentaclip struggle: what am I doing wrong
Hi all,
I really struggle with taking off and putting on the saddle on my brommie using the pentaclip. Surely I don't have to disassemble the whole clip every time ? But otherwise, why doesn't it slide on/off the clip easily ? Is there something obvious I am doing wrong ?
thanks in anticipation...

That's also my experience. You need to disassemble one of of the side plates to put the saddle on. There are few frictions plates in each side, make sure to keep them in place. Of course, once the saddle is on, you remove it from the bike together with the pentaclip which is easier.

One of the outside blocks, maybe, they go under/above the saddle rail itself.
just the threaded one.
but hold the inside pieces together in your fingers,
or you have all those friction plates coming out of place.
Personally, I dont have much problems, in that situation..
