Tikit ride quality

I'm looking for a bike I can use for commuting and longish rides (20-30 miles). I have a Brompton which is great for commuting only. Would the Tikit be appreciably better for the long rides, or do I need to look at 20" wheels? Tnx

Here lies the reason why you can never have enough bikes...good luck with the N+1 disease.

IMHO it depends on the road quality. If that 20-30 miles is on fairly smooth roads, there should be no need for 20"-tires. If you have to negotiate rough surfaces, 16"-wheels will let you feel them (even if you would get a suspended seat post, you'd get
plenty of jarring through the handlebars).

Using 40mm tires [which roll fast and are comfy] you'll have no problems covering those distances even on rough pavement on a Tikit. I love mine and ride it as often as possible....:thumb:

You can get the Tikit built with the TT length you need for comfortable cycling, gearing for your speed/terrain needs, any bars you need/want.

Tikit's Drive trains are option filled, to a much larger extent, than Brompton..

You could even order it with the newest electronic shifting if you wish..

though the fold is along angled hinges so bike is wider when folded ..

No rubber block, suspension, elasticity of the smaller steel tubes,
gives with the road, just like other bikes.

Of course Bromptons don't prevent you from doing long rides...
