Rear Wheel Replacement for Downtube 8H

Does anyone know of a compatible rear wheel for a Downtube 8H? The Sturmey Archer hub has become really too fidgety for me to bother with and I want to turn my bike into a fixed gear. The rear spacing is 116mm and the wheel has 28 holes. I am not sure if I can just slap in any 20 inch wheel or not. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Glory

Any 20" wheel that fits the spacing (with or without spacers) would do. You need to look into the chainline but apart from that you should be fine.

If you want some gears you could look into a 5 speed or a 3 speed hub. Much simpler hubs and less problems.

I've got two new-bike take-offs here.. one is a single speed Mu Uno wheel (freewheel with coaster brake) .. the other is a Sturmey Archer S2C (2 speed kickback hub, freewheel with coaster brake).. either would fit .. pm me if interested ... both very reasonably priced.

Choices get wider if you go with 36 spoke.. but Bruce's shop take off price is hard to beat.
