Any of my UK folks here have access to an SRAM Automatix 28h (not 36h)?

Not sure where in the world you are but you should be able to order one direct from a commercial retailer. I went to www.google.de and searched for 'SRAM Automatix 28h'. I found half a dozen places that claimed to have it in stock in under a minute. Example.

Yeah, the one on the link is made for 20" wheels. The one they sell in the US is for 26" wheels. I want the one built for smaller wheels, but I may just wait it off because I can't really justify paying $60 for shipping just to get this product.

28 hole is set to upshift around 161.3 rear wheel RPM, 36 hole is set to upshift around 131.6 rear wheel RPM.

So, on 47-406 tires, you're shifting at 7.6 mph on a 36 hole, or 9.3 mph on a 28 hole stock.
(Myself, if I do a folder based on the Automatix, I'd just use the 36 hole and mod the spring to shift at around 11.5-12.2 mph, based on my desired gearing and the fact that I spin.)

The thing is, the 36 hole for aftermarket applications has a different shift point set internally from the 28 hole for aftermarket applications.
28 hole is set to upshift around 161.3 rear wheel RPM, 36 hole is set to upshift around 131.6 rear wheel RPM.

Anyway I bought the 28h on BMO (bike-mailorder.de) but they will ship it only on the 1st september

I have built two of these now a 36h one for my Moulton TSR2 in a 20" rim and a 28h one for my Brompton, 16" wheel. I have modified the 28h one to change at 10mph. The 36h one I got from a friend in the UK (I am UK based) and the 28h I ordered from Germany. Cost me £50 incl postage plus the rim and spokes of course but I already had those.
This is the 28h one laced up and fitted on my Brompton.
This is the 36h one before I laced it up. Note this 36h one for my TSR2 has the coaster brake option as well.
Its a great little hub.
