Hmm the background figure seems more like a Star Trek Chick from the old series. As for the bike, i see a fair nr of these bikes still riding around so the design seems to have stood the test of time (i don't they have been produced for at least the last 20 or 25 years). I think Sparta, Union and Batavus all made a bike just like this one (partially because most of those brands were owned by Gazelle at one point so they all came from the same factory).

The EX30 is actually an amazing bike and is founded on the many excellent (Dutch) cross/unisex frames that were sold quite a bit up untill the eighties. The design often makes for excellent rigidity and a low step through, it is a pity that few production bikes these days make use of this old design and technology. Sometimes the only thing stronger and better than two diamonds and traingles is 3 or more of them. Moultons and a few Japanse brands seem to be some of the ones that do use smaller and more triangles and they make amazing bikes.
