I was able to capture a photo of this elusive creature; it was seen swiftly, nimbly over taking a herd of Brommies. Quite beautiful, even in its stock configuration.

Some lovely folding bikes in this thread. I'm going to have to give mine a paint touch up and drop of oil to compete.

That would spoil the looks. You should ride it as is.

$20+Craigslist+need a cheap folder right NOW=Adventurer 6 speed.

The only thing really wrong with this bike is that the seat won't go high enough for me. That, and I don't entirely trust the handlebars & stem. And the seat is too soft.

But I rode 22 miles (35km) on it a few days ago.

Bargain for $20 for sure. It's your generic entry level steel folding bike but at least it has height adjustable handlebars and a Shimano freewheel, derailleur and shifter and not generic parts. The company that sells it doesn't seem to know what thumbshifters are though. The great thing about such a bike is you can enjoy it and use it without worrying so much about theft because of its lack of value and being less desirable. Looks likely to be a fuji-ta bike its one of their classic frame designs and they are the world's biggest manufacturer of bikes and frames.

..also on my Spin in 49-406. They were a lucky shot, there was no alternative available in weight, volume, price. The other good things about came unexpected.

Nice bike. Seat is awful. Way too squishy.

Unfortunately I didn't think to take any proper pics of the folder while I was out today, so this one's ripped from Snapchat.

I've had the Tokyo for about two and a half years now and am still pleased with it. Put a front rack on it, swapped the Kendas for Schwalbe Marathons, and swapped the saddle for a Brooks B17.

Just some parts have been replaced with decent ones. It is basically still a Jetstream P8.
It is really a interesting bike, and not like the Birdy, you can easily find compatible parts from the market to upgrade your Jetstream.
The retails price is also much more reasonable.
Perhaps you can contact DAHON if you are inerested, I am sure their is a way to get one. :-)
