Very nice. Two questions, is that a carrying handle next to the seat tube? And what's up with that thingy on the fork?

yes. it's a handle bar for carrying the bike when it folded. also served as a frame reinforcement.
it is a full suspension bike: front fork has a German developed shock absorber - just the same as used on Dahon Jetstream P8 bikes.

Tern Verge S8i - I'm totally sold on the Gates Carbon belt drive and balloon tires.
The belt is silent and smooth, and the tires provide much better cushioning than a thudbuster combined with 20/1.5 tires.

Brompton Junction in Amsterdam. I can't say enough good things about the people who work here and the perfectionist service I received.

Freedom to Roam

US and Europe differ in their Public Freedom to Roam with a genuine impact on the quality of life. Having freedom means that you can traverse forests and farmland to your heart's desire.

Not an exotic location, but notable because there's water in the creek (which runs by Google HQ in Mtn View, CA). This creek is almost always dry, but we've had historic rains recently (and more tonight!).
