New 2015 Dahon models debuted @ Taipei International Cycle Show

Official Dahon press release here.

Clinch: another stab at a Lockjaw minivelo
Qix: a 20" wheel Jifo (or EEZZ?) with a SRAM G8
EEZZ 3: with 3-speed Shimano derailleur gearing
Curl: Introduced as a new model for a record fifth time! But will it ever actually be manufactured? Shown with a Shimano Nexus 7 IGH, so there's that. The forward fold saddle returns from the 2007 prototype.

Pictures all over the web in the next few days, I'm sure. Appearing @ US dealers after they sell off their remaining 2011 & 2012 bikes, sometime in 2017.

While browsing the Dahon press releases after following your link, I see that Dahon has announced US distribution through QBP. Interesting... I'd actually expect to see more Dahons in more stores this year.

Also, regarding the EEZZ3 from the release: "The addition of a 3-speed Shimano compact rear derailleur increases this bike's range, whilst shifting is done with the flick of the heel, eliminating the need for a shifter and cable."

Interesting... Anyone know the actual details of this setup?

Clinch:

Dahon's official facebook page has a few pictures, including one captioned "Greg Blake presents the Curl". The actual bike pictured is the new Qix, and at this point I'm skeptical that Dahon is in any way serious about the Curl.

FWIW, the Qix pix show a simplified EEZZ-style vertical fold frame and an industry std. SRAM 8-speed derailleur drivetrain.

wow. much yawn.

a few more 1000usd + bikes with limited functionality that very few people will ever ride.

oh, and look, yet another massive dahon licensing agreement. this time with ford motor company. i wonder if these bikes, like dahons other products, will also have american flag stickers on them?

Funny thing about that. Brompton recently announced they'd manufactured 300,000 bikes in the last 25 years. Good on 'em, congratulations, way cool, etc, etc, but that's maybe 12 weeks of production for Dahon.
