Bicycle Mag, 2014 Buyers Guilde, only had one "folder".
Not really a folder. Handle bar folds and seatpost.
The bike is a KHS Iped. Alum frame. 16 inch back wheel, 12 inch front.
Anybody know anything about this bike?
What does it weight???
Not a bad price, I found $376 shipped.
Do you Think this is a crappy/ cheap bike?
I am interested in it for weight and price.

Just how business works, they put bikes in those buyers guides, that those companies buy advertisements
in the magazine , during the year or, elsewhere in that issue.

Thanks. I sent them a note.
Bike is about 30-40 miles from me.
What I like about is the 3 speed.

Absolutely!! You can read reviews until you're blue in the face. You have to try the bike out for yourself and form your own opinion. Yes, we can gain a lot reading reviews about the bikes quality of construction and parts, companies customer service etc., but without seeing for yourself how it rides and feels then you are taking a chance of having to return it -- trust me on this one. I had to return two bikes I bought for my wife and I that I never test rode prier to purchasing.

Easy for you to say, about test riding. I live in a "small" area. One bike shop.

Perhaps I should have said if YOU can test ride. The only advise I can add in your situation is to find out about return policies. You don't want to be stuck with a purchase you are unhappy with. It's obviously very difficult for you in your case, so I hope that whatever you choose works out for you. Best wishes on that.

ask what sorts of bikes the shop can get, the demand may be Nil, so that is the inventory level
in response to a zero demand.
Example:J&B is a big National distributor , they have a Da Hon like folder ,
perhaps the shop gets other parts from them ..
just no one ever asks about folder bikes. [ LBS, here. has a J&B account ]
FWIW, Bought 1 Used Brompton , fixed some things , they hold value well ,
so when I resold it, I got a Newer also 2nd hand one, I got most of the cost back .
some upgrade parts were kept and transferred .. oem bits put back on
Feel review dependent? subscribe to the British AtoB magazine ( print) perhaps ..
