My Brompton did something amazing today

It fit on the floor in front of the seat in my tiny Ford Focus. The hatchback was full of tools and stuff so I was going to put it on the back seat. But then I thought I’ll see if it fits on the floor first, didn’t expect it to, but to my surprise it just dropped right in there :D

Did you disable the front air bag? I mean, like, you don't want your Brompton to get hurt now, do you? ;)

I like the bike (s-bar) and the car. I also like the Rubik's cube in your cup holder.

Isn't it great how the front wheel covers the chain/drivetrain so the grease wont be on the seats and the wife mad at you?

Focus is not tiny. Ka is. :)

Nice of the Ford engineers to think of that... :D

Compare the size of the Brompton with this one in the back seat of my Kia Sportage with the front passenger seat in a normal fore-aft position similar to the driver's seat. (I'm 5'10" tall, so the seat is in an average position.) Notice the height difference of this bike versus the Brompton, compared with car seat. Also notice that this bike has the chain within the folded bike, like the Brompton does, so it's not exposing the car interior to the greasy chain. (Click on picture to enlarge them.)

Here it is in the cargo area in back: http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=375463http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=375464
See this thread for a discussion of this bike: Who else wants one of these?

Awesome! I love bikes that fold up tiny. Great video of it posted on the 'Who else wants one of these?' thread;

Actually, when it comes to small, the Ka (similar to the Fiat 500 sold in the US), is massive. Look at this truly small car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJfSS0ZXYdo :roflmao2:
