Dahon handlepost recall from 2008 -- anyone had the post replaced?
 

I recently learned that there was a recall of Dahon folders from 2008 for bicycles without the Radius handlepost.

Here's one of the recall notices:

The recall notice mentions only 25 reports ("complaints").

If you had your handlepost replaced, please share details and a picture of the new part if possible.

I've been trying to communicate with Dahon about this but I have the distinct impression that they do not want to provide any service.

where are you located ? All my customers got notices from me and Dahon as well at the time. But depending where you got your bike it might ..gotten lost ...
I sure dont have any more warranty posts in my possession, I pay for the ones I have in my stock ( and consequently sell them )

but first things first
most likely your bike has not been recalled anyhow

Thor, exactly how did Dahon modify the post to fix it? Because the "R" marked ones have the same design as the dud ones, so I find it hard to trust.
