Folding ahead stem on my BF tikit
2 Attachment(s)
That's an adjustable stem with a quick release instead of the original M7 bolt. I got the idea and details from WK on the Bike Friday Yak.

That is amazing. How do you manage to have a life PLUS being the internet's biggest dickhead week after week?

Your stem looks lighter than the one I'm using. The only one I found here is made by Satori sold under the name Genetic. I am happy with the deep teeth of the adjustable stem, however. |

come to think of it, now i'm recalling those times you asked me for information and i took time out of my day to be your free internet intern and provide you with data. you never even said thanks. and now you're calling me a dickhead. i guess i should hope to live to be as old and grumpy as you. |

I thought the joint is heavy-dutied. |

perhaps you mistook the "are you a wizard" image as an insult. it was intended as a compliment.

I thought the joint is heavy-dutied. My first thought was to use that type of quick release stem to point the bar up and then use a quick release to lower the adjustable stem mast. But a few measurements convinced me that I wouldn't be able to lower it enough on the tikit with any bar that had forward extension. |

I apologise for calling you a dickhead. It was the cumulative sarcastic-looking memes starting with the one you posted when I called the Brompton a (slow) dog, which made me think you just added another insult to the list. I am quite a grumpy chap. Please forgive me. |

But your extensive small wheel/folding knowledge - and perhaps that abundance of grumpiness - must have needed an outlet, because you came back after some months. |
