I have a Dahon Speed Uno Shadow.
And need the latching mechanism.
Thanks
Also would like to find a rear bike rack.
Also have an old Dahon StowAway and would like a bike rack for that too.

I'm quite sold on thorusa. Even though I bought my Dahon elsewhere, Thor took care of me when I had a warranty issue with my hinge. He didn't even charge me for shipping. Notably, the shop from which I bought the bike wasn't helpful at all.
Sure he's running a business and wants to attract customers, but my take is that that is not his only motivation; he seems genuinely enthusiastic about bikes and wants all riders to have a good experience.

I will agree strongly. www.thorusa.com is the place to go and they have deal with Dahon. Dahon agreed to replace this handlepost under warranty for my Dahon Mariner. Thank you so much Thorusa for your help and efficiency.

I buy what I can from Thorusa.com... however Dahon in infamous for producing models with proprietary parts then abandoning the parts supply a few years later.
