Shimano a530's don't look like they provide grip, and the m324's certainly would, but at a aesthetics and weight price.

I have the a530s on a number of bikes. Grip is no problem with them. Of course, I am mostly clipped in with them.

England is with in their EU Market area.

OTOH, BBB has no US distribution any more. the arrangement with Bike Mine ended years ago . Shimano is sold everywhere .

When there was, It likely shipped from BBB source companies in ROC to the US Long Beach POE

Retail prices were similar to other parts, also of Taiwan Origins.
