Brompton International Delivery

Do you know any Brompton dealer that ships international?
I am living in Dubai - and I tried to order one evanscycles.com but it's available for shipping only in UK. :(

Brompton's website lists a dealer in Dubai. I don't know how accurate it is though.

Too bad I already booked my flight back to Asia on March, otherwise with Emirates 30kg allowance, I can bring two to you.

You could buy a pre owned one off Ebay.co.uk.....Try looking at welovebromptons.co.uk

This company specialises in selling pre owned Bromptons worldwide.Look up their feedback on Ebay..

I am not an agent for them..I live in Thailand right now!

Thanks for the suggestions! I will go check beyondbikes and see what they have - their b-spoke bikes are much more expensive.

I have dealt with an accommodating Brompton dealer in the US (west coast) that was ready to ship a new Brompton over to Asia but I cancelled it at the last minute - after sending them the money no less. I would have saved several hundred US$, but I decided to buy local for the service.

They returned me the money without fuss. Ask me for the name in private if you are interested.

Unfortunately I cannot send private messages as I only have 5 of the 50 posts required.
Could you just share the name here and I will google it?

Thanks!

El Cid - I don't know if Clever Cycles in Portland is who kevyen dealt with but they are first class and maybe they would handle it for you - I have purchased two Bromptons from them. Alternatively, I would be willing to act as the middle man for the price of a component (to be determined) for a new bike that I am building (not a folder). All communications can be handled in the light of day in the forum or if you prefer in private.

I don't want to get anyone into trouble, so I'm still not going to mention names.

I simply requested the dealer to send it to a US address where a freight forwarder would do the rest. I'm not sure if Brompton's rules cover that.
