When not to joke around

When I heard this, I thought of the old rap song 911 is a joke. I heard the actual 911 tape on the radio today, man this is just bad.

Makes me think twice about trying to joke with a client on the phone.

i thought the joke was pretty funny. thoughtless perhaps, but funny. sounds to me like the guy admitted to his mistake and was given the proper warning. i don't see what the woman is pushing for.

"The woman, identified only as Lori in Wednesday's editions of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, said she recently phoned authorities after coming home to find her daughters fighting. She told the call-taker her 12-year-old, who had kicked a hole in the door, was out of control."

are they serious? That Woman has bigger problems if she is calling 911 over something like that. Honestly, what were they sopposed to do? go over there and deal with some little kids?

How about calling 911 because you were served the wrong hamburger at the drive-thru? Listen to this:

Isn't there some kind of law against using the emergency number for non-emergency situations? Why isn't she getting the letters of reprimand, or worse.

It is if you're not the one getting on the plane/mailing a package. It's fun to get your friends in trouble. Plus, you know they love it....
