Stupid HTML tricks.

Ok, so I know the [img][/img] html codes, the bold underline and italic html tricks. I also know the color and font codes.

Are there any other cool, simple html tricks that would be interesting for use on a forum like this one?

Technically they're vBcode "tricks" although they then get parsed and turned into HTML of course. For more vBcode options, see the BikeForums vBcode List.

Not many forums allow the use of HTML in posts because you can play music and do clever things with it.

There's also the advanced text editor that makes all those tricks easier - you have to turn it on in your control panel. I imagine if it were on by default, there'd probably be a LOT more server load...

The advanced editor is javascript and thus all handled client-side.

most of the codes we use on this board are not really HTML but BBcode..

there are codes like "center" and "list" and more..
just search for BBcodes .. here is one site.. http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/faq.php?mode=bbcode#1

Not all BB code works on all BB code enabled forums either.

Exactly... which is why I stuck a link to the ones supported by BikeForums in my earlier post.
