Okay well people i know are away in florida. And they still need internet because the mother is taking online courses. Well, the hotal uses AOL if you are registed, or you can use the trial version thing. But, the acess numbers go through regular phone lines so ontop of the monthly AOL fee they have to pay 6$/hour for use of phone. However the hotel does not charge for 800 #'s. So im wondering, is there an ISP out there that uses 800 numbers for acess?

I thought that most hotels don't charge for local calls, and that aol has local server #'s almost nationwide?

So many places have 802.11 wireless these days that I no longer bother with dialup. If I really need dialup, I tether my phone and use GPRS. However, you might consider something like PeoplePC Online.

Earthlink has 800 acess numbers, but it's like an extra buck a month for it.
