Oct photo thread- time to vote!

Leaving today for a week so I’m starting the oct thread a couple of days early....it would be nice if people would post a rural photo in sept's thread the next couple of days before posting in this one

“W”

Any picture including something starting with a "W". It could be wooden, warren, warts, wary, wearing, walking, waking, waste, waist, who, when, where, wear, ware, weir, weird, weed, ween, wonky, wrong, wrought iron, wonderful, wonderment, won, white, Isle of Wight, wide, wine, while, whale, wail, wall, warm, worm, word, wood, would, wooed, wizened, widened, wraith, waif, wafer, waiter, water, warder, warden, warrior, wit, whit, whine, wane, way home, welding, wielding, wheeling - it's entirely your choice so let your imagination run free! It would be nice if you give your picture a title to help us understand your point of view but it's not compulsory.

West coast

Other Worlds over the Water

Not sure if you can see these, but here goes:

From the Huntington Beach (CA) pier at about 6:30AM - Venus is the shiny thing up at top right, the (quater) Moon down below above the horizon, and (look close) Jupiter directly above the Moon, about half way up to Venus' level.

Thank you very much, clemsongirl ! The child in the right side photograph is Willem-Alexander Claus George Ferdinand; King of the Netherlands in his father's (Prince Claus van Amsberg) arms ...
Maria bought those old photographs on a flee market in Amsterdam.
