Will anyone be watching the Daytona 500?

I from the South, some things environmentally can't be escaped. I'm not a fan, probably can't make it through the whole race but I always seem to watch the start of the race and I'll usually turn it back on to catch the end. I do appreciate what it is more than I'm sure many will but to function at that level for 4+ hours is truly a super human feat. I've heard that the drivers will lose about 8 pounds during the race, maybe an old wives tale. I've went hard and fast tire to tire on motorcycles off road before (suppose a pace line is similar) but NASCAR it's all happening much faster.

Just wondering if there was anyone else who would be watching today.

Nah they'll show clips of anything that happens, later

I like seeing motorsports that turn Right as well as just Left all the time..

I'd rather watch the fueler super modifieds on a quarter mile or a third mile oval dirt track. My friend and I used to drive over to Albuquerque to watch my uncle. Last time we went he crashed and burned for us, totaling his rig. When the fuelers crash, they burn. I'll bet it gets a little warm inside those fire suits if you don't get out quick.

Looks like it was a close race. Here is the finish.
