October Photo Thread

Thanks for the nudge Machka.
This month I thought we could do "something small". It doesn't have to be a macro shot - while it could show us details of a small object that we wouldn't normally see, it could also express relative size in a broader context. Have fun with it!

model train...hand built by the retired but still owner of taylor steel in oxnard ca.....one of my favorite places to photograph.

At the end of Sept I and my gf was in Turkey (just booked tickets https://lowcost.club and made a small vacations). See this photo from our trip. The views is breathtaking, right?

I believe that's a non-variegated species of Lamiastrum/Lamium galeobdolon, "Yellow archangel." Generally considered invasive but a cool flower for sure. Great shot.
