Hey y'all. It's been a long time. Wondering who's still around and how y'all doing.

<3 2 Ride and I started a bike shop in the wilds of Michigan a couple years ago. We're celebrating a good year and looking forward to the future.

What's your story?

I am not here.

Glad to hear you and Joy are well. Still in the Detroit area? Or not that kind of wild?
I'll be passing thru MI in July with a Kalamazoo buddy en route to the Bon Ton Roulet in upstate NY. Can't wait.

Yo UA I've not been around in a long time. Still cycling, still inline speedskating and still have some attitude. Happy to read that you and <3 2 Ride are still hanging out and have a bike shop. Whereabouts in Michigan.

I'm enjoying life with my amazing husband, doing some travelling and just having fun.

Happy New Year, y'all!

I can't seem to figure out this new forum and didn't realize people had responded. Good seeing some familiar faces.

We're enjoying lake life with the kiddos in the hillier part of greater Detroit. I don't get to ride as much as I used to but we bought a house within bike commute distance of the shop and I'm looking forward to riding the bike again.

Good to hear things are going well with you.

Have a lightweight Rolffast (Rosa) to go with my middleweight (Tempest) and I'm expectant *1951 ballooner name to be Beryl as she's going to be medium green and white.

Four bike single parent family, monotonous of course.

among other irksome things.

There's a leak in the pipes below our bathroom (dripping in the downstairs' neighbor's apartment) so on Monday I am taking a personal day to watch plumbers remove our toilet to get to the leak. It could be worse, at least they don't anticipate breaking up our floor tiles (although, at 80+ years old, they're messed up in other places, so a complete renovation is long overdue - as woPgoat never fails to remind me).

On the positive side, I'm pretty sure our place has doubled in value since we bought it five years ago - That's without any major renovations (the kitchen is also in dire need of upgrades) - cha-ching!
