NCAA Tournament - Who's your team?

Who's your pick to win it all? I'm more of a conference guy than any die-hard fan of just one team. I grew up with ACC basketball from the days of "sail with The Pilot" & Thacker & Packer. Good to see the conference so strong again this year. My oldest brother went to UNC & lives in Chapel Hill....youngest daughter is at NC State (uugghh!), but I don't have a steady favorite in the ACC fight - I like them all. My alma mater (UNC-Wilmington) is playing one of my favorite programs and coaches today against Tony Bennett and Virginia so I'm good either way. Virginia's had a tough season and I hope they can get it together for MM. My dream 2017 final 4 - - L'ville, Notre Dame, UNC & Duke with Duke vs UNC for the final, and I'd be pulling for Duke.....sorry bro

Sadly my team didn't make it this year to the dance (after making it last year) and also lost in the first round of the NIT yesterday, UC Irvine, where my daughter attends. Oh well.

I'm tired of the big east factory teams in blue. I expect one of the west teams will win. AZ, GZ, UCLA. Likely against Duke. But I'm a sucker for the little guys like Butler and Seaton Hall. Cinderella will be Michigan.

The Northwestern Wildcats are the only member of a major conference, and one of five original Division I teams, to never have qualified for the NCAA tournament before this season. Go Cats!

Although I've worked at Florida State for many years and would love to see a good showing, as an Arizona alum I have to go with my alma mater.

Dayton Flyers--a big longshot, but they play good D, and they might surprise a bit. Advancing through UK would be huge. Not betting the rent, just cheering them as far as they go.

random tourney thoughts:
* Northwestern got a terrible call and unnecessary T to Chris Collins...4 pt. swing really changed the "mo"
* Wisconsin is better than a 8 seed and Wichita St is better than 10
* ACC stunk it up yesterday
* Fla. St. is taller than of the NBA rosters, proves height can't beat heart
* UNC-W news: NC State lures away the Seahawks coach for 2018. Little known fact, John Calpiri played basketball for UNC-W his freshman year before transferring

I had Villanova. Losing them hurt more than being right about SC/Duke.

Hurt my bracket I mean I don't really care...

Community college teams, where the students don't have athletic scholarships, so they play because they love the sports, tickets are reasonably priced, and they more likely learn something in classes they can use for careers.

Oldest daughter played division 3 softball, They all had partial scholarships, no full rides. I miss those spring trips to see her games....never been so cold in my life as watching a double header in a late Feb howling wind game

&*$%#@)* ACC ! Only 1 horse left to ride, at least they looked good last night. I guess the SEC has all the bragging rights now, what a finish to the FL / WI game ! South Carolina's defense is scary good --- they completely take their opponents out of their offense. If they keep hitting their shots they could keep it going to the Final 4.

Woo hoo - it's the Carolina's vs the PNW in the Final 4. What good games today vs the less exciting Saturday games.
At least we're now on par with the SEC and Pac 12

some incredible games this weekend.
Loved seeing the Ducks pull it out - they're going to be my team of choice for the FF and Champ.

Incredible ending to the UK/UNC game yesterday too - those last 10 seconds were just buuuuhhhhhhhhh

But, as a Syracuse fan, I'm happy to see Kansas, Kentucky, Villanova, and Duke all kicked to the curb.

U of Oregon Women had the unfortunate match up with 35-0 UConn on the last round of 8.

Oregon Men got to the last 4

Nice to see my alma mater made it into the third round... but not back out again. My hometown team didn't make the playoffs.

Oregon is the only team left that can get me any points in my pool but it won't help me because the person above and below me both have Oregon too. I had Gonzaga losing their next game so I got as much out of them as I could. The two with Oregon both have Gonzaga so my final standing is locked in I think.

But I will return to hating Kentucky for letting NC into the final 4. I actually picked UCLA out of that corner but letting NC advance is killing me!

UCONN women go down on last second shot in overtime !!
Women's Final Four - Mississippi State Bulldogs stand up to Connecticut Huskies in epic upset

I know how you guys feel pulling against The Heels, I feel the same way when the Patriots play football. I watched some Pac12 games this year and was amused by Bill Walton. I know he's always been a free spirit and cool guy but have they always let him fly his freak flag on broadcasts like this year? He comes complete with his own wardrobe, props and social agenda topics -- love it

srsly? Not a single post here after the game last night? I was pulling for Gonzaga so turned it off after that flurry of scoring in the last minute. Close game all along but not all that well played in my opinion.
