Over use of the word "run"

[rant]

I run brand X tires on my bike.

I run brand x saddle on my bike.

Now the use of the word "run" in reference to eye wear.

http://www.bikeforums.net/19867138-post6.html

This is going way too far in the use of the word "run". There are other verbs. In the last one what about "wear"?

I am suggesting the ban of the verb "run".

OK I have to run. I am getting the runs from the verb run.

[/rant]
