Anyone tried MoviePass?

Anyone tried MoviePass? It's a $9.95 a month movie subscription plan where you see one movie a day in participating theaters.

Used it a few times now and am hoping Moviepass is successful, because this is great for moviegoers.

Seems like a steal. That's less than one ticket at most major theaters these days. I think they're pretty smart to offer a service like this, what with streaming services being so popular.

I agree, even though it appears they'll end up being matinees. Still a far better deal. More $ for popcorn!

The times aren't restricted; I just usually go to matinees. What is restricted: no 3D films, IMAX, or XD.

Sure is a good deal. I might look into to it.

Last year when I turned old I got a lifetime National Park pass for $20. Beats paying $30+ park entrance fees every time.

MoviePass launches one-year subscription plan for $6.95 a month
https://www.theverge.com/2017/11/17/...scription-plan

And now they are even cheaper! It looks like they're really trying to increase their subscription-base. It's a great deal if (and that's a big if) the company is still in business a year from now (or once you see ~8-12 movies on it, which looks like the break-even point from a member's perspective.).
