Just read about this. What a loss.

I really hope they don't find out he OD'ed or died choking himself out or something.

I’m currently reading (7 PM eastern on Monday) that this is unconfirmed and that he is on life support.

Possibly an erroneous LAPD report initially.

Anybody know anything recent .

A friend of mine this summer had a massive heart attack and some people posted RIPs on facebook when he was not dead. It took another week.

For his and his family's sake, I hope the end is soon.

The regular rock station that's on at work played a lot of his stuff, some of which I'd never heard before...such as....

CNN made it official at 9:46PM PDT.

Sometimes I feel like my generation is going to have to see everyone die.

The flip side of a 45 I bought in high school

I can't even remember what the A side was (a hit, though), but I bought it for this

This one hurts. TP's music has always been a big part of my life's soundtrack. Not to mention he was only two years older than me

I think one of his finest moments was at the Tribute Concert for the 9-11 first responders. Laid back, laconic Tom standing tall and defiant just got to love it
