Android 7.1.

My flip phone finally kicked the bucket, so I got my first "smart" phone. I'm still not sure whether I like it or not.

It gets updates periodically, I think. Unfortunately it doesn't really say what is being updated.

The phone certainly has some odd things such as trying to handshake with every WIFI net it encounters, possibly even with WIFI disabled.

I'm not sure there is much of an upgrade path unless I try to download a hacked version 5 OS onto the phone.

I suspect that BF members are a microcosm of the rest of the smart phone world, so I wouldn't expect a big difference from these figures.

Part of the reason I have an older phone is that it also has one of the higher resolution camera phones with excellent zoom capabilities.

And, can you imagine, I can also talk on it... so it does just about everything that I need.
