Pics, and the story of the canoe I restored can be found here; The free(cycle) canoe
It has since been painted a dark blue due to falling tree damage. Gotta love fiberglass.

Perception Conduit 13 with rudder kit installed. The rudder makes it SO well behaved in wind. <$700 into the kayak, WELL worth it! This was from almost 2 weeks ago.

Sitting on top of my '16 Crosstrek limited. Not powerful, but more than I really need Yakima Railgrab towers with round bars, Thule j-cradles and straps/rope. Scotty rod mount.

Super stable kayak, but long enough to be quicker than most rec boats

Ha ha, yes, if I recall we spoke on the forum after I bought it from you, if you're him, LOL. It's still hanging on the side of my shed, but doesn't get much use. The bicycle keeps me out of the boat.

Oops, it wasn't you. I just went through notifications and didn't see your post with your Conduit.

I bought mine on Craigslist. Met the guy and he noticed my bicycle in the back of my car. Turned out he was the president of the Rails to Trails of Central PA organization. I rode the trails of western PA at the time. I think we did catch each other on the forum here right after I bought it.

How about a whaleboat?

Not mine. There are canoe plans at that site though.

A "Marco Polo", 55 ft world cruiser built on Whaleboat lines, designed by L.F. Herreshoff

Not mine.

A Marco Polo in a bit of a gale. That's a relatively long, narrow hull that's both seaworthy and fast. Sails are split between 3 masts and easy to handle. Maybe you can build one in your backyard someday. I never will.
