OU stuck around losing 34-45 closer than it started. ND clobbered 30-3 now we have Alabama Clemson again. ZZZZZZZZZZ for now but next week I will be watching because I love football.

I'm liking where Clemson is as far as team chemistry this year, and Dabo says it's the best team he's ever had. Another plus is that most of America will be pulling against Alabama (more so than for Clemson ) so there's always that. I only hope all this new attention given to Trevor Lawrence doesn't take him out of his groove and make him press. He's been a little under the radar as far as national attention for most of the year, now he's a story.

It's gonna be an uphill battle for anyone to beat Alabama, but I'd say Clemson has the best chance and we do have the 2 best teams in the final. It could and should be a great game.

I'm sure anyone who bet on Oklahoma with the +14 points or the under at 81 points, cheered coach Saban when Alabama took a knee for the last couple plays of the game in the shadow of Oklahoma's goalpost and settled for an 11 point win with a score total of 79.

I'll be watching as well. I love college ball, only wish my 49ers got the memo about winning.

The Ravens will draft an Alabama player. They always do, even after Newsome's retirement. Even if they have a better option.......

I believe Clemson has a legitimate shot at beating Alabama it is hard to bet against Alabama when Bama is hitting on all cylinders.

What -- no posts yet? I thought I'd be late to after-game discussions. What a surprising beat down that hardly anyone saw coming. If you've ever played team sports you know how much team chemistry, togetherness, and shared mission have to do with performance and that was the biggest factor I saw on Clemson's side going in, but I don't think anyone would expect such a lopsided outcome.

ACC, ACC, ACC !!

I heard the announcers say the Clemson fans were mockingly chanting SEC, SEC, SEC in the final stages....something they've been on the receiving end of all too often

In my opinion, AL/Clemson was a great game (and I don't care for either team or most of their fans). Both teams brought their best and the level of performance all around was awesome.

Yeah it was. I come from an Auburn family so watching FallDownTide was a treat.

Not surprised that Clemson won but by a 44-16 score. They put a whoopin on Alabama and Clemson’s QB only being a freshmen that is insane. Most of their skill players are returning and Clemson will probably be better next season.
