Another foo thread has recently dropped screenshots of Paperboy, but I can't think of any other cycling game.

I assume Zwift doesn't count as a game?

I don't but this reminds me of the California Games where part of it featured a BMX type course where you did sweet flips.

There's a Tour de France game which, by all accounts, is painfully boring and un-fun.

I recall one as a kid, but the objective was throwing newspapers. The bike was just the conveyance. Does that count as a cycling game, or more of a journalistic endeavor?

That's Paperboy. Loved it on Gameboy as a kid.

There is a pretty fun little game called "Guts and* Glory" on Steam. Bikes are under-represented in the video-game world. The only 2 big-name games I can recall having bicycles in them are Grand Theft Auto V and San Andreas.

Dave Mirra BMX was definitely awesome as a kid/teen in the early 2000's. My dad bought me a really nice Dave MIrra edition Haro back then. I got maybe 2 summers out of it before it was stolen.

Gameboy as a kid? You young whippersnappers will never know what it was like to walk 20 miles barefoot through the snow, up hill in both directions, to get to and from the arcade just to pump quarters into Paperboy and Space Invaders.

I want to say someone posted a short video in the road forum a while back where they recorded a bike ride from a video game. I think it was Grand Theft Auto. It was pretty funny.

Mine was Galaga and R Type. We had this place up in town called Stingrays, had ALL the cool standups and sit down games. They had a membership thing that for $X you got a bunch of tokens a month. Recently while looking through some old keepsakes I found one of them.....memories....

Mine were actually Tempest and Galaxian. Later it was Xevious, a great but lesser known game from Atari.

My real love though was pinball, and I got damn good at it after college. At my local bar in the late 80s and early 90s people would sometimes watch me play. One huge disappointment in my life happened while playing Terminator-2. After my first ball (plus 1 or 2 extra balls), I was only a relatively few number points from turning over the machine. (IIRC, the score display had 9 digits.) The next two balls basically had to quickly get through the top bumpers and slots and go right down the middle in order for me to not turnover the machine. All these thoughts went through my head about what would happen, like a bunch of free games and the machine's electronics going crazy. I'll bet you can guess what happened. Fiddle fiddle down the middle for both balls. My playing partner and I looked at each other in disbelief.

Hi friends, to be honest I don't play bike games. I played a long time ago but at the moment I haven't even tried. It may be interesting enough, but I don't have much time for that. Now I only play in Dota2. By the way, a very good game. Anyone here playing in Dota2? I read somewhere that it is possible to do fast mmr boost. Does anyone know more about this? I would like any information.
