Make sputtering pppbbbttt!pppbbbttt!pppbbbttt! farts while walking, like a tiny boat motor or scooter badly in need of a tuneup, much to the delighted amusement of grandchildren and horrified embarrassment of adult children within earshot.

I had to toot really bad at the grocery store the other day, but all the aisles were full of people. Normally, I would have left a "present" by the soda cans.

There is little to no golf on when football is over, only basketball, so old reruns and PBS have to do.

I get off work and usually toss on a pair of sweats or shorts if I'm just staying around the house. I got a text and hunted high and low to find my phone. I can't pinpoint where electronic noises are coming from. After an hour of hunting I gave up and sat down. That's when I felt my phone in my pocket. I never put my phone in my pocket at home. Well, apparently I have once.

So I'm putting away the items I just used to make a sandwich and I sit down to eat, when it hits me -- did I just put the mayonnaise in the cupboard? I open the cabinet and sure enough there it is. So if the mayonnaise is in the cupboards then the salt must be in the refrigerator? Yep, lol.

Personally, I grew a beard, developed a potbelly and started riding a recumbent. I should fit in nicely.

I suppose it's just a matter of time before I start stashing stuff in the fridge without realizing it.

My grandmother was literally a control freak, so much so that she had to have the TV remote in her hand at all times, even when the grandkids were watching their favorite programs. Grandmother would absentmindedly wiggle her fingers and poke the controls, accidentally changing the channel or volume. Drove the grandkids nuts. My older grandson, then about six years old, hollered "Put it on the table! Just put it on the table, grandmother!"

Occasionally she'd misplace the remote. Most of the time it was in the refrigerator. She'd even carry it around the house.

And she deliberately hid her favorite home-canned garden goodies in the stove because she thought her housekeeper was stealing her canned peaches. Then she'd forget where she'd hidden the stuff, so her fears were confirmed.

It's fun opening the fridge at lunch time or dinner time and finding the box of cereal in the fridge. Yup, look in the cupboard and there's the milk.
