I only liked that because I sympathize, mind you. Likes are weird. You hang in there, I look forward to your posts here.

Wow.

I was feeling sorry for myself after tripping and twisting my knee on Friday.
You cured me of that self-pity.
Also going to get more consistent with the sunscreen.

Once you heal, check to see if when you scratch your shoulder, you feel it on your thigh!

You are a freakin' human jigsaw puzzle! I hope this is the end of all of this for now! Heal well.

so December now, time for an update I guess. In october, spent three weeks in icu because of blood clots in my chest.they originally sent me home from er for "drug seeking behavior" but apparently death in the lobby changes their opinion.
still off the bike because I have to put on some real fat, but life is infinitely better. I have to admit I am still alive because I rode a bike.
Apparently the chest clots were at a fatal level but just felt like another day on the bike to me. My lungs have gotten a lot better since
I got out of the hospital, but my cardio feels like crap since I have been off my bike all year.

is it amusing, my heart doc was a bike racer, and blood doc bike rider, and I met a store owner who was a former cat level racer. i had lots of people to talk to

drug seeking behavior!!!! Good thing they realized their mistake. Seeking treatment for potentially fatal blood cots and they accuse you of seeking drugs? Get well soon and the bike isnít going anywhere and will be ready for your return to riding.

Indeed, that's insane.

+1. I'm just starting out riding again after taking more than a year off for what I thought was a sprained knee (and turned out to be a tumor that ate the top half of my fibula). It's slow going and rough retraining the sitz bones at first. Been a long time since I had to do that. One thing I've found to be helpful is Zwift on a trainer. When I have enough, I get just get off and stagger away (though having my son constantly asking me why all those people are passing me gets old). Best of luck.
