Time marches on. He's not the Six Million Dollar Man any more, but hey, at least he's still alive (unlike Farrah).

Adjusted for inflation, he's the 34.5 Million Dollar Man!

Huh, if that's a recent pic, I'd say he's looking pretty good for 80.

I watched a couple of seasons of Six Million Dollar Man, before moving away from primetime TV viewing.

Happy B'day Lee Majors, and may you have quite a few more ahead of you.

I had a 6 million dollar man lunch box in elementary school. It was actually made out of metal.

There was actually a pretty good joke I heard at school back then, about the Six Million Dollar Man using the restroom, and telling his bionic arm what to do, but I would get banned if I repeated it here, so hopefully everyone here has either heard it already, or can fill in the missing parts of the joke.

Whoa! Lunch boxes are no longer made of metal!

Mine had a boring plaid design, before upgrading/downgrading (your pick) to cafeteria food.

I had a metal "Laugh In" lunch box. The thermos was lined with glass.

The Six Million Dollar Man would kick Chuck Norris' butt.

And raise your hand if you did moves in slo-mo while making that springy noise from the show. Don't be embarrassed. Raise them up high.

Only rich kids had lunch boxes. Mine was a plain brown paper bag.

The Six Million Dollar Man did successfully defeat Bigfoot, but even THAT is no guarantee he could take Chuck Norris:

He was pretty funny in Ash vs. Evil Dead. He played Bruce Campbell's dad. Perfect casting.

That was the episode that ended my watching 6 Million Dollar Man, was an occasional watcher to begin with, since it was getting too silly for my tastes

Nah, the boss wouldn't have liked me going any slower than he thought I was, even though I thought I was busting ass.

The episode where the bionic man’s brakes on his car failed so he opened the door and used his bionic leg and his boot to slow and stop the car The next day at school we were all imitating that.

They're the Six Thousand Dollar Boots (in 1975 dollars) that the govt secretly has, but is hiding from us. From the people who brought us $37 screws, the $7,622 coffee maker, and $640 toilet seats.

A friend and I tried that one on an old Cushman Scooter with bad brakes, we didn't get many stops on a pair shoes, the brakes were fixed after a trip down to the shoe repair shop.

Lube/oil/filter change, atomic power pack, good as new!

After all, he survived a bad test flight, no?

https://airandspace.si.edu/stories/e...made-famous-tv Yes, that was a REAL test flight.

Technology was so much better back then, look at all the things we need today, that we didn't need back then.

A few of my friends had ones of their favorite western hero, if I had a choice during my lunch box days, I probably would have had a Lassie version, since Timmy and Lassie were a must watch every Sunday night.
