So what you need is a mirror, a razor blade, and a rolled up dollar bill.....

Wait, not that kind of party?

Funny, yesterday when I got home I tested it and found it does have interlock with bin, but no lid. I almost posted, but figured TMI.

I was also going to mention how this grinder makes a terrible racket. Nearly unbearable. Also is messy and creates a decent amount of super-fines in a medium grind.

So I have been casually in the market for a replacement. Ideally under $150. I had been familiar with most leading contenders, but not sure what is new in last year or so. I don't need espresso grind.

Never really met a "quiet" coffee grinder.

I do espresso... so yeah, I want fine grind.

Funny, when I sail... I use a small hand grinder (it IS quiet) and make French press coffee.

Never mind I do need espresso grind, I meant not needing the finest so called Turkish grind.
It is said the Capresseo is fairly quiet, but doesn't do a medium grind well.
The Baratza Encore may be OK, but seems to have wear issues.

We use Krups burr grinder, variable coarse selection. Will not run if the bin is absent, nor will it run if the bin is present but no lid on the bin. It was reasonably priced as I recall.

I only drink coffee on day's ending with a "y." And multiple cups of coffee if the name of the day also has an "a" in it.

when I'm so angry with someone that I wanna kill him for that stupidity. Coffee, coffee and one more coffee. Guys, just don't think that I'm a bad person, no, it's not true, I just can't stand when people do some stupid stuff, which I need to fix after them, my work is tough, even though I'm a simple manager. Sometimes I think that I work too much as even at home I had Cuisinart DGB-625BC Grind-and-Brew Coffee Maker, it's pretty similar to one we have at work. I've ordered it as I found it on wellfed website. I love this blog as there is really useful info of every great product, which is worth trying. Moreover, these reviews help you to choose the best suitable variant and you can be sure that it's not a simple ad. Worth checking!

More than once I have carefully cracked eggs right into the trash can, instead of into the bowl and then shells into the trash can

It read "cracked eggs right into the trash can, instead of into the bowl and then shells into the trash can"

The backwards move is "eggs into trash, shells into bowl." That, I have done... when I meant to throw shells into sink... (to gather for trash, all later) but cracked eggs into sink, put shells into bowl.

For you, to save time... just throw the whole egg in the trash... it's faster.

This probably borders on heresy, but I drink instant Folgers coffee. If I'm on a multi day ride, I just put a couple heaping tablespoons in my bike water bottle, no hot water required. It's a caffeine delivery device, not an existential out of body experience.

The college experience during finals. Study till some ridiculous hour, go to sleep for a couple, get up, take a spoon of instant coffee, put it in your mouth, add a glass of cold water, swallow, repeat. Take exam. Repeat.

It's crazy how much money people waste on coffee at the major chains. Many people spend up to $10 a day on coffee.

I take instant backpacking. Fresh ground Aeropress at home.

Many years (decades?) ago I went on an overnight backpack trip with my two younger brothers - I planned what we needed to bring and clearly recall telling them we each needed at least 4L of water.
Turned out I brought 5L and they each only 1L. This was not discovered until breakfast.
We argued, used the last of water for oatmeal, ate dry instant coffee by spoonful, cut the trip short and hiked out and argued some more.

The only thing I like with my morning coffee is the sound of no one talking to me.

There was a study that said coffee drinkers live longer. I think they got it wrong. By me having my coffee other people live longer.

I wake up, I want coffee. Surprisingly, I can stop drinking coffee and get no withdrawal symptoms. I think my body knows I will be back. We have French press in the morning, I have espresso in my office, and moka pot in the afternoon.

For milk, fresh goat milk. For a mocha, cacoa from our heritage trees - not bitter, slightly spicy.

Hmmm, I might need another cup.
