You start your ride in your p.j.'s!
Then you think to yourself how comfortable you are and start thinking that you might start a new biking clothes line

When I put anti fungal cream on my toothbrush instead of toothpaste YUCK. I rinsed my mouth out then drank coffee then brushed my teeth with Crest.

you load up the my K-cup, put it in the Keurig, hit start, and thirty seconds of dispensing water later, realize there's no cup in place and coffee is running down the cabinet front and onto the floor. Been doing that a lot lately.

Made chicken stock the other day. Poured it into the strainer which was perfectly seated in ... another strainer.

That period of human history before coffee was invented is known as the dark ages. Life was grim then.

I haven't quit, but reducing my intake to two small cups a day (and none before a ride) has made me feel much better and sleep much better overall.

I went so far as to grow nearly a dozen coffee trees. I found that one tree will supply about a month of coffee. After discovering that processing it was very labor intensive and little "volunteer" seedlings constantly needed weeding, I resigned myself to the store bought.

I drink maybe 6 cups a day, and a cup of cappuccino before bed many nights or a cup of tea, and I sleep like a baby. I find coffee suppresses my appetite, wakes me up, boosts my energy and readies me for my ride. The problem is I've considered a catheter for my rides but that would be way too messy... just kidding :-)

I really NEED to stop drinking coffee. Or at least cut back to one 12 oz in the morning. I am having issues with needing to urinate frequently and URGENTLY! I have an enlarged prostate and I really struggle to hold my bladder until I can get to a bathroom. I also drink a lot of water but I am cutting back on that only in the evening until I go to bed. I am sure that coffee exacerbates the problem more than water. I am scheduled to see a urologist the second week of July, and have started taking a prescription to try to ease the urgency. It is miserable having ones life run by ones bladder.

When I need a nap. 1 cup at 3 P.M. will absolutely put me down for 30 minutes. Been like that since my late 20s.
